Yitzhak Rabin High School develops well-rounded young Jewish adults by instilling in them an appreciation of music and the arts, and by encouraging their participation in athletics.
Students regularly attend arts performances at the National Arts Centre and Centrepointe Theatre. Yitzhak Rabin High School also proudly boasts Raneinu, a student-run performing troupe that produces musical shows throughout Ottawa. The students have also put on the murder mystery play “The Mousetrap” by Agatha Christie.
Aside from the physical education class, Yitzhak Rabin High School offers a variety of extra sports including intramural soccer, a cross-country running team, a curling team, and a basketball team. Other teams and intramural clubs are created if students express interest in participating in a new sport.
